COVID-19 has brought many things to our lives: disruption, suffering, uncertainty and grief.
Those of us who have confronted other life-threatening circumstances may be feeling ‘here we are again.’ I know my husband and I have. Our time in the County of Cancer prepared us well.
From out of that preparation, the words from Vanishing Acts came, and here in May, they have found resonance with the Editor-in-Chief of the Literary Review of Canada. Somehow foreshadowing one of the most disruptive times in the past 50 years, these words now sit on the front cover of the May 2020 issue of the LRC.
